People who have lots of siblings,
people who have older siblings,
people who have younger siblings,
and people who are the only child,
Hello, hello to you all.
This is Marian, who has younger siblings and
Noir who is one of seven (I think) siblings.
We went to visit my host family again.
They have 3 children, one older girl,
and a pair of twins who are 2 years younger.
That day it was pouring rain, literally.
So we needed to stay home.
On top of those 3 kids, they had a friend come over to hang out
so all together, 4 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 grown-ups...
Full House. lol
2 grown-ups and 2 dogs went to pick the kids up from school.
In Japan, starting from Grade 1,
kids always go to school by themselves.
Some Japanese elementary schools arrange groups with neighbours
to ensure no kid goes to school by themselves,
while for others that don’t implement this system,
the kids usually meet up with their friends or
neighbours to go to school together.
After school, they are allowed to leave school grounds
without the need of parental supervision
and will either go home with their friends or by themselves...
They usually meet their parents afterwards at home.
I guess it’s safer in Japan?
(although there is news of kidnapping and missing children
on their way home from school; it doesn’t occur too often)
I carried Noir while waiting at the school grounds...
just because it was raining waaay too much...
Bubba goes to school pretty much every day to drop/pick them up,
so kids and parents know him. But this time,
Noir was noticed by them too.
Especially the other kids, (who came out before the kids we went to pick up)
they loved Noir so much.... (but they kept saying "puppy" ...lol)
We left the school grounds together and arrived home.
The kids, instead of hugging me first, all rushed to to touch, hug, and hold Noir
then came afterwards to hug me. (wtf)
And then it was time for devoir (which is French for homework)...
It is in French...... I can't really help them.....
I did my best to give them moral support by accompanying them...
but besides that I couldn’t do anything else.
They were talking about their music classes.
And piano lessons....
I honestly do not possess musical talent of any sort,
so of course I can't play piano.....
So I asked the friend who was visiting to help the younger twin practice piano.
Me and Noir just sat at the back and watched them do whatever they were doing... ;p
I felt slightly useless.... orz
The two grown-ups were busy trying to make sure all the kids were fed,
practiced piano, completed their homework, and so on...
during all that chaos I lost track of Noir,
but shortly after...
the girls happily came back with Noir looking like this....... lmao
Noir was definitely NOT happy,
but the kids had a lot of fun, and their smiles are the best.
Bubba also got dressed a bit....
He doesn't particularly look too happy about it either....
Overall, once everything was over,
Noir had fun and he gave me his best smile too.
And it worth more than anything. ^_^
Mommy is happy<3
